Maddy's back
So, it's been a while since the last post and I'm surprised at how much Maddy is growing. She's filling out and starting to look older.
Ok, well here she kind of looks like a teletubby, but she still looks bigger to me. She's starting to act older too. She's actually starting to interact with stuff and to play. Here she is playing with the dangley attachment that came with her rocker.

Mega Maddy Madness
The last two weeks has just been busy, which is way it's been awhile since the last update. But, now we are back with MEGA MADDY MADNESS. A crazy entry full of Maddy, Maddy, and more Maddy in case you have been feeling deprived.
So, Maddy was blessed the first weekend in March and everyone was there! She was like a rock star!! Maddy had a great time. She loves to be the center of attention and everybody paid attention to Maddy. She had her great-grandparents around her, both sets of grandparents, and some of her cousins. Here's the condensed version of the weekend.
Fun, but exhausting. Most of the family left on Monday, but her Aunt Carolyn and Uncle Scott stayed for the rest of the week with Soren and Carl. Maddy got the fun of visiting them everyday. One day, I'm sure it will be more exciting for the cousins to visit each other, but for now, out of the three of them, Soren is the only one that is really capable of playing and he wasn't so much interested in playing with a 2 month old.
So this week, things are starting to get back to normal. The weather is starting to get nice so Maddy got her first outing in a stroller. It was still cool outside though so Maddy had to get dressed for the outdoors. First, her onesy... some pants... socks... a jacket...
... Finally, a hat.
There may have been a few suggestions at this point that we were getting her ready for the Iditarod and where were her sled dogs, but I would just like to say that she was nice and toasty on her walk. Does this look like a baby that didn't just enjoy her walk?
Maddy also went to her two month appointment this week. She weighs 8 lbs 8 oz now!! The best part about this is she is finally starting to fit into clothes that she got from everyone. Today, we are spotlighting her Disney onesy from Uncle Stan and Aunt Althea. I was so excited when she got this and it finally fits!
Now, it's not just cool because it's got Tigger on it. It's not just cool because it says, "Grrrrrr." Here's the best part!
That's right. Maddy has a tail! Now she is seriously cool!
But! That's not all. This is Mega Maddy Madness after all. So, here's the bonus features. First, we have the full-length footage of Maddy's weekend movie. I love this because you can hear her talking in this and she even snores at the end. Plus, some of the comments you can hear during filming are amusing.
And, last, but not least, we have Cousin Soren playing Guitar Hero... sort of.

Maddy and Her Daddy
This is Maddy and her daddy. Maddy loves her daddy because they do all the fun stuff together. He plays video games with her and they dance to Queen. They have a great time. As you can see.
I woke up yesterday morning and found out that Ash had made a CD for Maddy. (You can't listen to Queen all the time.) Maddy is hilarious because she loves music. She will listen to anything and enjoys every minute of it. The other night, she listened to New Age with her Grandpa D. She listens to Ben Folds in the car and normally, I put her to sleep with hymns.
