It's a hair-do miracle

I am so excited. Since it was a beautiful snowy day out, Maddy wanted to go outside. Well, I told Maddy that if she wanted to go outside, she needed a special hair do for the snow, so while she watched Aquabats, I got to braid her hair. She looks so pretty!

Then the fun in the snow began. Maddy learned today that if you have a bucket, you can do some great building.

 

And then some great destroying!

Now that the baby is all better. She's ready to go shopping. Dr. Maddy is a wonder!

A cold cold day

This is Maddy's favorite hiding spot right now. Please note my cookbooks on the floor. Now let's talk about what all is in the cupboard with her. You can see her blankie and the big blue comfort. What you can't see are the 5 stuffed animals that are behind the closed side of the door. She put them all there herself.

So today after we ran some errands, Maddy was begging to go to the park, so I figured we would go out. I did not realize that it was about 15 degrees out today.

After playing at the park for a bit, she left in tears because she was so cold and tired from a busy, busy morning. We heated up the car quick and used my coat as a blanket and she came home and ate a taco and felt much better. I really need to start checking the temperature before we go out. 

Just another day

Playing in the car after shopping. I miss those horses that only cost a penny!

Maddy got a hold of my phone and has spent the last twenty minutes carefully scrolling through the pictures and videos and playing every movie of herself that she can find. I think it's funny that A) she has figured out how to make the phone bend to her will and B) that movies of herself are the next best thing to the Aquabats Supershow!

Maddy's Birthday

Alright, So I'm having trouble getting all the pictures grouped, but here's some pics Ash took of Maddy's birthday this year. She had a few friends over and they had a great time playing with her toys!

Then came lunch. Maddy had a Cars birthday party and, while the pizza and chips were great, she had the most fun drinking orange soda out of her Cars cups!

 

Then came the cake! We went out to Addi Cakes here in town and got her the best birthday cake ever for a 3 year old! It was fantastic! And, Maddy did a good job blowing out the candles.

She didn't stay with the cake for long though. And had fun opening her presents. Her friends helped!

Good times were had by all!
