We made these guys at Girl's Camp for a service project to give to kids that are in the hospital.
Maddy has heard all about them and that they are for sick kids. So today, when Carl didn't make it to church because he was sick, she asked if she could make one for him. Ash thought it looked like fun and decided to make one too so before we knew it, we were all making monsters.
Maddy did all the work herself to put hers together.
Her favorite part was stuffing him. She even did about half the whip stitching to hold him together.
She was pretty pleased with the end result.
She was so pleased in fact, that she will have to make another one for Carl, because Blue and Merv are now a part of the family.
