A busy weekend

This weekend has been busy. Maddy had a sleepover at Nan's house on Friday, while Ash and I went to the Chicago temple. Then last night we all went out to dinner together after my last day working Saturdays at the hospital. Today, I got some pictures for posting though!

Here's is Maddy eating her lunch of choice: Ramen noodles. There is water heating up in the kitchen, but she didn't want to wait for it. She devoured about half this block of noodles before the water was ready.

This afternoon we went out to the park down the street. It's really been the first day that it has been nice enough to go there. It was still chilly, but Maddy had a good time.

I can't believe how much she is growing. This last picture is a story that she wrote this evening. It's about her and Carl.

It's hard to see because she was using a light blue colored pencil, but she did a pretty good job. I helped with some of the spelling. If you are trying to decipher it here are a couple tips: Carl is spelled Crl and visit she spelled "va it" as two different words.

The story reads: Maddy and Carl visit a volcano. Carl and Carl (I think she forgot as she was writing here) walked on Mt. St. Helens meet Larry the Lava.

She is so fun!
